Re: Great Soucek Article
Don’t think people are particularly bothered what the media are doing but ironic after all his good performances he only gets noticed when he is the victim of Madcap Mike Dean & his nonsense.
And that the article all but puts a price tag on him while musing where he should be rather than little West Ham.
That sort of thing should be focused on players who should move. Like Harold Kane & Son.

Fuck me some people are never happy!
The BBC ignores us and only talk about the "big four" - we bitch
The BBC does a great piece on one of ours - and we still bitch

In one of his first games he was marshalling and telling others what to do. We thought this is one confident boy. One of the best signings ever, he is a machine

Love the bloke, but this feels to me like the BBC putting where they think he should be: in the shop window.

Not ANOTHER one.

It's clear that, this season, as soon as any media and fans started being positive about WHU, everything has turned to shite.

VERTIGO!!!!!!!

I hope Mipo reads that. It shows that with hard work you can turn things around.

Unlike Keane and Viera he comes across as a genuinely lovely bloke.

Not really, I'd let him shag my wife :-)

Re: Great Soucek Article
He seems such a genuine good guy as well

Noticed he posted on twitter how unacceptable the abuse of Mike Dean was and sent support to Mike Dean and his family

I have not seen any apology to HIM for a scandalously ludicrous decision from Mike Dean

I will be surprised if he doesn't play for one of the European elite clubs at some point in his career.

Lovely read that, can't help but love the bloke.

Long may he stay with us. He's the epitome of what we're about at the moment.

Re: Great Soucek Article
Great read, nice story and very informative about how he battled to make it. As is often the case, he got a lucky break when Slavia had to recall loaned players and had to use them because they were skint. Just shows that success is often down to persistence and having the mental stamina to overcome setbacks as opposed to natural gifts or talent.

His background and humility he has from setbacks, being one of the "also rans" for most of his early career is what makes him very likable. Oh and his love of potato salad. The food of champions :-)

Re: Great Soucek Article
A good read for players who haven’t stood out as youths and have to fight to get to the top.
Must admit when I watched his first game it was his awkward running style that stood out & wasn’t sure he’d be up to much for us.
Has been sensational since then & we will be lucky to keep hold of him.
The sort of character we need more of
